About FDDI Noida
FDDI Noida also known as Footwear Design and Development Institute Noida was established in 1986. The campus is well equipped with modern amenities. The campus area spreads across an area over 10 acres. FDDI Noida infrastructure is well maintained with state-of-the-art housing and buildings. FDDI has a pan-India presence and has 12 campuses throughout the country.
Footwear Design and Development Institute courses are offered at certificate, undergraduate and postgraduate levels, in the fields of fashion and management. The degrees offered are B.Des, BBA, M.Des and MBA. FDDI Noida fees range from Rs 95,600 to Rs 1,66,000 (first semester). FDDI Noida course admissions are determined by the candidate's previous academic merit and entrance exam scores. The applications are done online on the institute’s official website. Candidates must meet the FDDI admission criteria to proceed with the applications.

Qs. What are the key design aspects of sports footwear that the FDDI Noida focuses in its academic programme and research activities?
Ans. Earlier sports footwear was an elective subject but now after revision of FDDI Noida curriculum, it has been integrated as part of the mainstream of the subject. The subjects include virtual product designing, ergonomics to understand the natural law of work, biomechanics to understand forces on the body during kinematic actions. Beside this, the students are in parallel exposed to the styling, colour theory and design initially manually and then on CAD based software.

FDDI Noida Application Process 2024
Only online registration is available for candidates for the FDDI Noida application process. By obtaining a single registration form, candidates are able to apply for many programmes. The steps for application are provided here:

- Then click on ‘Apply Now’.
- The 'New User' button must be clicked to begin the registration process.

FDDI Noida Scholarships
There are no scholarships available from FDDI Noida, however, in accordance with respective procedures and requirements, students from all FDDI Noida are eligible to apply for scholarships provided by governmental organisations. Government organisations including the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) give scholarships that students can apply for. Students may also submit an application for scholarships provided by non-profit groups and foundations.
The institute streamlines the procedure by processing and forwarding scholarship applications from qualified students in accordance with set norms. FDDI Noida scholarships provided via the State Government are:
- Mukhyamantri Medhavi Yojna, MP Govt. Scholarship Scheme.
- UP Govt. Scholarship Scheme.
The Footwear Design & Development Institute Noida Scholarship is offered under Financial Aid to Indian as well as NRI students. Below is the detailed information for some scholarships provided by FDDI Noida.
International Students Person of India Origin (PIO)
Out of this 10% allocation, 5% of seats are reserved for foreigners/ NRI/ PIO. Further out of this, 5% Allocation of seats for the foreigners/NRI/PIO with a maximum of 2 seats per programme per campus will be considered for a 25% scholarship/ concession in Tuition Fee under Study in India Programme. FDDI Noida scholarship will be awarded in order of merit prepared on the basis of the score achieved in TOEFL/ GRE/ GMAT/ SAT (as the case may be) by the students of the above-mentioned categories applying under the ‘Study in India’ scheme of the Government of India.
Fee Concession For Reserved Category Candidates
(Only for those who have not applied for any scholarship provided by any government/private body)
- FDDI Noida will provide 10% concession to reserved category candidates -Scheduled Caste (ST), Scheduled Tribe (ST), OBC (Non-Creamy)*, Economical Weaker Session (EWS)*, Person with Disability (PwD).
- This Scholarship is only for those reserved category students/candidates who have not applied for the scholarship provided by any government or private body in any form.
The students getting any other financial assistance/reimbursement/scholarship/stipend towards expenditure on education from any other source viz Central / State Government / PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) /Trust /private persons etc. shall not be eligible to apply for the financial assistance under this scheme.
